Legal Requirements
Data protection Acts 1988 and 2003 imposes legal requirements on all companies and their Directors to ensure that the safe management and final destruction of personal information is monitored and recorded at all times. Failure to comply is a criminal offence under these Acts and fines of up to €100,000 may be imposed.
